Healthcare Operations Management

Healthcare Operations Management examines operational issues in healthcare management with the goal of instilling an understanding of the language, issues, and fundamentals of healthcare operations management: operational analysis, goal setting, strategy execution, performance improvement, and their applications in current issues. Key issues in healthcare operations include:

  1. Managing facility operations to deliver safe, cost-effective, patient care with quality and efficiency.

  2. Analyzing and evaluating the financial management of health organizations.

  3. Understanding the management of change in health organizations.

  4. Interpreting and applying relevant health administration and operations research.

  5. Applying operations management issues and identify the most appropriate options in relation to strategy.

I lead courses and I consult on healthcare operations management to empower facility managers and directors to lead with efficiency and effectiveness; and to empower administrators to better understand their roles. My service covers Dubai, Abu Dhabi in the UAE; Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar and the wider Gulf-region. Upcoming courses are available at: https://www.informa-mea.com/training/healthcare/healthcare-operations-management .
