Emiratisation Training Program

The Tamkeen program is a comprehensive 6-week corporate training program specifically designed to empower Emiratis at the junior level by building their basic workforce skills. The program aims to assist organisations in equipping their employees with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workplace and contribute effectively to the organisation.

This program provides vocational training and support pursuant to the UAE's endeavor to foster a knowledge-based economy by investing in the skill development of Emiratis.

What does the program include?

The program is delivered as a one-day training, once a week for six consecutive weeks with developmental assignments made after each session. It can be customized based on the needs of the enterprise.

Course components:

  • Participants will enhance communication skills, focusing on effective verbal and nonverbal techniques, aligning personal values with the organization's mission, and gaining insights into time management, task prioritization, and goal-setting for increased personal effectiveness.

  • The second day explores personal responsibility, strategies for managing distractions and maintaining focus, problem-solving and decision-making techniques, and introduces fundamental project management principles to enhance participants' organizational skills.

  • The emphasis shifts to teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within teams, featuring sessions on feedback and collaboration skills, cultural sensitivity, and diversity, fostering a workplace culture of inclusivity and mutual respect.

  • Leadership skills take the spotlight, covering principles, styles, and personal leadership development. Emotional intelligence, building resilience, mindfulness, and stress management strategies are also addressed to promote participants' well-being in both professional and personal spheres.

  • The fifth-day hones presentation and executive presence skills, focusing on effective communication at leadership levels, customer service excellence, and self-management and professionalism, including accountability, integrity, initiative, and maintaining a positive professional image.

  • The final day delves into financial literacy, covering basic financial concepts, investment fundamentals, debt management, and financial planning. Additionally, digital literacy, health and well-being in the workplace, and networking skills are addressed, providing a holistic approach to personal and professional development.
